Feeding South Dakota operates in five program areas:
Our organization operates out of three separate, yet totally integrated, locations based in Sioux Falls, Pierre, and Rapid City. The overall organization is managed by a Cheif Executive Officer and each location has a regional operations manager assigned. The operations managers are responsible for the personnel, operations and resources at each specific location. These three locations provide hunger relief assistance to communities and organizations for a group of counties that make up their service territory, as shown in the map below. Rapid City serves the 12 most western counties (orange), Pierre serves the 24 most central counties (grey), and Sioux Falls covers the 30 most eastern counties in the state (green). In total, Feeding South Dakota services 66 counties, with a total population of over 833,000 people.
